The older we get, the easier it is to connect the dots. Us old folk have alot more dots. We know that we can't trust anyone, most politicians are in for the kickbacks, service companies will screw you, most people are self-serving assholes, and dogs are the only people who truly and unconditionally love you.

i have for sure gotten more cynical the older i get i seen the same thing happen to my father! the older i get the more i understand him and why he thinks the way he does!

If I go somewhere and someone tells me "Happy Holidays" I reply "Merry Christmas", I don't give a F*** if they are offended.
Same if they use some stupid pronoun, if ya got a dick, you ARE MALE, if ya got a vagina you ARE FEMALE. If you are gay or lesbian I really don't give a shit, I won't bother you if you leave me alone. I've met some really nice people who are part of the sane gay/lesbian community and they think much the same about the crazies that give them a bad rep.
