What does a dead Dutch poet have to do with EVs

Also marsman bad.
Wernher von Braun (the space Nazi) wrote a short story in 1953 about a man named Elon going to Mars.
He said Musk's politics are "conspiratorial-right", which is just a Marsman bad talking point. That's not exactly what he said.
That's very true, and hilarious to watch. He said that lots of people who think he's bad are also the kind of folks who have bought Teslas.
That is fucking brilliant!!Wernher von Braun (the space Nazi) wrote a short story in 1953 about a man named Elon going to Mars.
Elon Musk was born in 1971, and he wants to goto Mars.
Elon uses regulatory capture and silicon valley investing tactics to make a bunch of money selling EVs to retards.
Uses some of that money, but mostly his clout, to start a space company. Ostensibly to goto Mars.
Then he buys Twatter and pisses off all the neo-lib globalists.
Elon = Marsman
Marsman will always be associated with EVs.
Marsman bad because the TV says so.

RIGHT NOW BATTERY TECHNOLOGY IS PROBABLY THE BIGGEST LIMITING FACTOR IN EV'S RIGHT NOWWhen the technology reaches the point where I can:
1. pull in and recharge in the same amount of time it takes to fill up with gas
2. the batteries are good for 15-20 years
3. We aren't dependent on Chinese slave labor for the batteries
4. The battery material acquisition and disposal is not a greater threat to the environment than the use of petroleum
Then we can talk!
Might be fun to buy one that's been totaled because of battery replacement costs, rip out all the proprietary crap, and put a standard motor controller and BMS on it.… and I’d consider buying one if they made it “just” a car.
Don't worry about the damage, it's the thought that counts.Nice little run down on destroying the planet to be green.
During the late '70s, gas was rationed in Houston, to odd or even days by auto tag numbers. The cost of gas didn't bother me. As I worked a full time job, part time job while attending college classes, time sitting in line at the gas station was more important the price of the fuel. I don't want to spend time looking for a place to charge a vehicle or time waiting to charge it..... Do I care about the 6 cents per mile, versus the 16 cents per mile? No, because I never had to....
You don’t drive in the left lane at those speeds do you? While some are trying to entertain themselves for the 30 minutes to load another 100 miles worth of distance, I am 35 to 40 miles closer to my destination.
Oh?When the electric power is made by an onboard Tritium or Hydrogen reactor, then I'll probably already be dead. Then I'll vote for EVs.
Til then, phuck em!!!
Won't be voting demoncrap until after I'm dead.Oh?
Gonna be votin' "demoncrap"...then?
At a mile a minute, no. But at 70 to 80 sure. And most of my long distance driving for years was from Orlando to Houston. I am waiting for the new flux capacitor version. You don’t drive in the left lane at those speeds do you?
Even if you save 10 cents per mile with an electric vehicle, the cheapest Tesla model 3 is still $14000 more than the accord ex. If gas costs $2.75/gal and you get 33mpg then you could drive 168000 miles with the money you save by not buying a Tesla, not including what you have to pay to charge the Tesla.Seems like an electric car purchase is now based on what's the most important to you, the journey or the destination? While some are trying to entertain themselves for the 30 minutes to load another 100 miles worth of distance, I am 35 to 40 miles closer to my destination. Do I care about the 6 cents per mile, versus the 16 cents per mile? No, because I never had to. A great deal of that difference is going to smooth out when they have to replace the batteries.
I also don't have to worry about my home burning down due to a garage fire.
Too soon?
