Barbecue. The .22 contest should be a go (Dan needs to post up the rules). We're tossing around the idea of an intro to some kind of action shooting.

But we need to hear back from people on this stuff! What do you want to do, users?

Some pistol competitions could be fun. More along the lines of hard shots, as opposed to competition shooting, or competitions that are not the usual type

We've got a pretty typical action bay. I'm not sure if we got one of the 100 yard deep bays, or one of the shorter (about 50 yds by 50 IIRC) bays.

We have bay #3 reserved for the event. I can't remember which it is but, I believe it is the last one before the A/B/C pistol bays, and I think it is a 100yd bay. I'll be talking to BOTW tomorrow to confirm.

Quick update. In the next couple of weeks I'm going to get all the hardware to fab up some barricades and fake walls. If anyone in or near the Austin area is interested in helping out, I may make a day out of it so we can get this stuff all knocked out at once. We WILL have this stuff worked out in time for the event. I plan on us running an intro to IDPA style course. Nothing too crazy, something newbies can do at their own pace, but that everyone including those already experienced can still have fun with.
