I believe the pressure at that depth is 5000 PSI but there are people smarter than me that would know that. I only took basic scuba diving certification.


just checked at the depth they were at 4367.7 psi. Any hull failure would have been fatal to everyone once the water filled the chamber.

yeah there is no way they had a "comms failure" and everything else is working hunky dory. They had a hull breach, and that caused the comms failure.

This thing went dumb for a while last year. Apparently the comms/control is soda straw-like. Any drift and it’s time to find a needle in an ocean time.
