Making it a public demonstration, inviting out the media and otherwise flaunting OC vs simply enjoying it (and for us, in a place where the owner has confirmed it's welcome). And taking credit for something you pretty much helped kill (and failed, thankfully).

But that's almost never mentioned and should be. Not in the angry "my rights!" way but just a comment that it's as much or more about making a political statement than anything else. That it eclipses the tactical and strategic issues, or at least that you aren't convinced that there is enough other reasons to counter your desire to make a statement.
