Years ago, like 60 or more, I ate these itty-bitty White Castle burgers that to do this day I remember were out of this world delicious, washed down with something call Birch Beer, which kinda/sorts tastes like Root Beer, but better.
The only thing they put on them was fried onions and lots of em...gawd they good.
If memory serves correct they cost 20 cents and the Birch Beer was 5 cents.
which has happened so often in every category I'm not terribly disappointed anymore almost about anything I pay money for.
I miss the 50's.
White Castles were decent if you were broke, stupid drunk & had them occasionally. Then again McDonald's were decent enough to eat once a week back in the day.Man, that looks tasty.
The White Castle burgers I ate -I did mention it was over 60 years ago when I ate them and either my taste buds weren't very sophisticated (likely) or their quality has dropped, which has happened so often in every category I'm not terribly disappointed anymore almost about anything I pay money for.

Damn ...
I think that is no longer a burger. Looks tasty though
Not sold on putting it on sweet potato fries, but looks great!

You gotta ask for the fries "well done", then they're nice and crispy, and anything less than a double double is just a fast food burger. Part of what I like about In n' Out is that it's clean, well run, the staff is dressed in uniforms, (not t-shirts), They look you in they eye and talk directly to you, and they can actually count change.I don’t get the In n Out love. It’s mediocre at best and their fries are terrible.
