Hey I’m just impressed the story got out there at all. It’s pretty much over at this point, I’m just glad we got to discuss it for almost a week.

Do we know yet the distances Dicken fired from? I’ve heard he started at 40ydd and moved forward. Do we know how far he moved? What direction from shooter? How many shoots from each distance?

I read he started from 30 yards and advanced. Who knows what the truth is.....Just read that Dickens Attorney says he has measured the distance and he calls 40 plus yards. ( not too specific).....Hell, just practice.

I agree. I had read something about when he first engaged the bad guy he fired his first shot at 40 yards , quickly closed to 30 yards & fired the remaining shots.

Whatever the final details show it’s still a incredible feat of bravery and marksmanship under stress.

They should pin a Medal of Honor on him.
