The front door was locked. That was warning enough.

He could have put a sign on the front door:

My front door is locked to protect YOU........from ME.

    Which is why I'M armed!!!

The media needs to stop publishing these ridiculous statements from family of criminals. The victim did what he needed to do to survive and the community should support him in every way, which includes not allowing Miss Lakesha to run her mouth.

Shouldn't even have to go before a Grand Jury.

Now they are trying to make it so that you will have to take the gun from the intruder in order to defend yourself.

There's a mathematical formula for that:

Old man + gun + criminal scumbag breaking in + Castle Doctrine + shooting the criminal scumbag = Grand Jury acquittal.

I'm old. I can't fight you so I'll just kill you.

All shooting deaths go before a grand jury. That is just a fact of life.

Not sure what you mean by your second sentence.

Hinting toward the current political scenario on gun control.

The Grand Jury is a crucial role in the judiciary process to determine if a person should be indicted. Hopefully, it stays as a due process in all cases.

My wife is a dallas police officer she says she doesn't see a reason why he wouldn't be "no billed".

Actually, that is the Grand Jury's sole role. it is the sole determining factor if a person is indicted. Under the Texas constitution, "no person shall be held to answer for a criminal offense, unless on an indictment of a grand jury, except in cases in which the punishment is by fine or imprisonment, otherwise than in the penitentiary". Meaning no person can be tried for a felony unless indicted or true billed by a Grand Jury.

I think that is what you said.................
