Frankly I don't think cute memes are going to cut it this time.

There's nothing to cut. This is extremely likely to become law very soon. Laugh at memes or fume in the dark, whatever it takes to pass the time until we can vote these scumbags out of office.

It's been proven, voting isn't an answer.
    Elections are rigged.

Or, America is too stupid to be involved in elections

Option 3: the Dems are too devoted to playing the long game and have spent the past four decades or so slowly spreading their influence through the media, the colleges and the courts in order to get away with rigging the elections while convincing the moderates that it's all a conspiracy theory.

There's always option 4 - but its not the "good option" and it involves spending a lot of precious, heavy metal and vital fluids, doing some nation-wide gardening (especially watering and fertilizing a particular variety of tree) and making a lot of good communists. We're not to that point yet.

But we may be getting much closer, day by day.

WASHINGTON—Senate Democrats and more than a dozen Republicans voted to advance a bipartisan gun-control bill past its last procedural hurdle, setting up a final passage as soon as later Thursday on the most significant firearms legislation in decades.

The 65-34 vote moved the bill past the 60-vote filibuster threshold required for the legislation to advance, and the package will now face a simple majority vote in the 50-50 Senate.
