Don't have anything on the calendar . . . yet. If we can designate a time I will put it on there.

Maybe others can come as well.

Anyone else down with this date?

Sunday the 13th would be perfect for me.

An oddity about me, just so you know --

I do not like to shoot other people's firearms. I do like for people to shoot mine, though. When you shoot mine, I supply the ammo.

I'm in for my really good HK-53 knock-off and probably for an AR. A G17 or G20 if we're doing handguns.

edit: Actually I'm in for the HK-53 and an AK.

    Gunz are icky.
One more question for you folks who have been to ASC.

Can a person use a wheeled cart to carry their gear from the parking area over to the firing lines?
I looked at Google Earth pics and it looks like the firing line is some distance from the parking spots.

BTW: Are we doing rifles or pistols?

I don't see why not. If you put it right next to you, you'll likely block where people need to walk or stand but there's room well back from the line for a cart to live while you're shooting.

There are parking spots some distance from the firing line but there's also a line of parking right behind the line. If the place is so crowded you must use the distant parking, it's probably too crowded to have fun. (My opinion, only; I don't like thick crowds.)

Yes, you can use carts. Saw two different guys that had carts and rolling tool boxes. One guy had so much stuff that he needed two benches and half the rear bench just to get half his stuff set up!

He said "after 4" so ... after 4? :shades:

Too bad I'm stuck doing our month end closeout, or I'd stop on the way home. I work a couple exits down the road.

What kind of backboards does ASC have?
Cheesy floppy boards? Should I bring some cardboard as backing?
Do you have to purchase targets from them or can we bring your own?

No backings just boards to staple targets to.

You can bring your own targets.

You get one target with price of admission.
