Picked up a new toy at the fun show today:
It's the mid level model of the new FLIR RS thermosights. Comes with a Larue QD mount and hard case. The one I got has 1.25 - 5x zoom, 6 color palettes, video out, bunch of different reticles, 640x480 display and 60hz refresh rate.
I see u Kitteh!
Be wery wery qwiet... Iz hunting computers:
It was less than MSRP so seemed like a pretty good deal for a thermal WS. Compared to FLIR's $10,000+ T50 thermal sight, this one was relatively inexpensive. It also cost $3,000 less than the comparable ATN unit, has a better user interface and more features and comes with FLIR's warranty (3 years for the unit, and 10 years for the thermal sensor. The vendor said they'd offer lifetime warranty, so I bit and got hooked.
Now to figure out which rifle to stick it on and buy some handwarmer packs to zero this thing.
