Doctors are not what some of us expect. They are far from "scientists" like Fauci claims to be.

I know a couple, three actually, from years ago when they were in school and internships in the U.S. They are good at memorizing things and can pass the years of hazing abuse.
They are not the arrogant types, all claim to be highly trained technicians. One of them I went to electrical engineering school with then he continued on to become an MD and did some surgery on me.

They are in competition with lots of imports from the Philippines and India these days. Anyway, like anything else, if you need one you need a specialist (doctor or lawyer). They forget everything else that they learned in school and their world changes every 10 or 12 years.

I was thinking about medicine and doctors and the FDA the other day when I stumbled onto 70 darvocet pills I had from a bad injury 20+ years ago. I put them in my used oil for proper eventual disposal.

A little internet research shows the FDA "re-called" them all in 2010 for causing heart trouble (and addiction) which they had known about for 15 years. Anyway they estimate there were 600 million prescriptions for these written in the US from 1957-2010. And more recently, remember "cipro" a great modern antibiotic that a year later after you quit taking it can rupture your Achilles tendon.

Choose your doctor and medicines carefully ! And hope for some good luck.
