I sent a mental telepath to MReed today on this very thing. But apparently Duckknot intercepted it. I voted yellow: interested. But now I'm ready to change it to blue: definitely in, for Friday or Saturday. S&W 66-2, 2.5" in plain brown leather - that's as close to a BBQ gun as I have.

MReed, FYI, I stopped at Smokey Mos, US 183 just S of Seward Junction & visited w Gen Mgr Ken. They're open on Jan 1 & he is sympathetic to OC (he took part in an OC demo!!!) & is amenable to such a lunch group as ours. I thanked him & said I'd get back to him later

Bring bail money. If you're doing this in Austin proper you may need it.

    EDIT: this Smokey Moe's?

If so, why do you insult us by saying "Austin?" Thats Cedar Park boyo! :50cal:
Smokey Moes is a big school supporter. They provide free dinners for sale every year for CPHS's band fundraiser.

The wife especially recommends their smoked chicken.

Further, there are two ranges on 1431 just down the road. make a day of it.
I love it when a plan comes together!

I've been trying to organize a best of the west range day but they won't email me back.....that'd be a badass day, open carry then to range day for some freedom exercises!
