So. Field report time. Lots of weirdness at lease between trespassers, pack of dogs running through 3 different leases( had tracking collars but no one in all 3 clubs knew who owned them) and non cooperative weather made for some tough hunting, but on Tuesday morning
    IMG_7840.jpeg
    now off to camp.
    IMG_7841.jpeg
first cut was an easy one. The tail. Like cutting a stick of butter.
Next was taking off the head. One swing.

    Next was some rib peeling
    IMG_7844.jpeg
    IMG_7845.jpeg
    again, very easy and clean.
I normally do not chop the leg below the shoulder because I can surgically remove the lower leg at the joint in a few seconds, but had to test it
    IMG_7848.jpeg
    right through it like nothing.
Next was chopping the spine into sections that would fit into a pressure cooker
    IMG_7847.jpeg
    and again, smooth and clean.
Tried it in the back leg bones and shoulder bones after I got home and processed her ( no pics) but went right through the heavy bone with no issues.

@General Zod thank you for an amazing chopper.

Following in this thread, it was hard to imagine what the final product would truly look like. What an amazing job you did with your skills.

It always fascinates me seeing a piece of raw steel, turned into a piece of art like that.

Fantastic job! Absolutely beautiful,( the bone chopper, not you… )
