Except these are reliable, work, and wont blow up on you. LolJust change the way the take down lever works and you have a Glock
Its pretty easy to accidently activate. Doesnt matter as it is my wifes gun, but i use it more than she has.I don't get why the safety bothers people. It doesn't bother me at all. Either use it or don't. It's not like it's in the way, at least not for me.
My M&P9FS has no safey and I want it for consistency between the 2. I want to have exactly the same controls on both.I don't get why the safety bothers people. It doesn't bother me at all. Either use it or don't. It's not like it's in the way, at least not for me.

Not too happy with mine. Shoots about 8" groups from a rest at 7 yards.
I shot it with the same ammo which groups 1/2 inch at the same distance from a 1911 chambered in 9 mm.
Have you tried different ammo in the Shield?
I have not, but why would the Shield perform so poorly with ammo that delivers superb accuracy in a 1911 platform?
I am talking Winchester White Box, 115 grain FMJ -- the gold standard for range ammo.
Let us not get into a discussion of range ammo -- SD ammo is another thing altogether.
Be well.
It evolved.Ah. Thought that was a thread on how to remove the safety.

You might want to send that one in to S&W for repair.
