Voted last week, a whopping 73 people prior to me had early voted. There are 17K in my county but I have no idea how many are of voting age.

All right. Just voted. There were 4 county precincts voting at my polling place. As of 3:30 this afternoon 166 Republican votes had been cast and only 12 Democrat votes had been cast.

The election judge said the same number ratio has been reported from all the polling places in my county so far. Not a very important election for Democrats I guess.

    Helotes!
The wife and I did our civic duty last week during early voting. It wasn't very crowded, but we went late in the afternoon but before most people got out of work...

    I voted Friday.

Primaries are the only way to get the right people in office. The (R) is going to win in the general election around here... generally.

Voted this evening. There was the table for the Republican runoff which I expected to see, but the spot where the Democrat table usually sits was empty of any table or officials. Wonder if that meant there just weren't any voters or if they were trying to serve both parties from the table labeled Republican.

It's a small town, but we're only 20 miles away from one of the guys in the Dem Ag commissioner run off, so I would have expected to see more from that side. The guy didn't even have a sign out in front of the place that I could see.

I went today and it was a pathetic turnout where I was, I guess people just don't care enough to get out and vote. The good news is that the Dems were getting bear by more than a 2 to 1 margin.
The AP has Patrick defeating Dewhurst and Paxton defeating Dan Branch.
I am hoping that the new guys make a difference and live up to what they say they will do.
