Pretty much any cartridge in 6.5mm caliber is a manbun cartridge
LMAO Funny! Cute, very cute!
FIFY
I don't recall even seeing 6.5 Grendal at my Academy mush. But I have not looked. The last time I was there, everything was out but .224 Valkyrie.

The Ruger american ranch in 762x39 is a fine rifle. Taught my son at the range on one, and it drops deer just fine.Is his primary use going to be hunting or range use? A lever-action rifle in .30-30 is hard to beat. Ruger also makes an American rifle in 7.62x39 that would do for his needs.....if he doesn't want to spring for the CZ version.

Aero and bcm are great rifles that are very affordable, FALs hold their price and if the guy finds out he doesn't like said rifle he can always flip it for a easy profit. Aero and bcm aren't the ferraris of guns they're made to be affordable but extremely high qualityYou don't buy a Ferrari for your first car... Find a caliber of interest, and buy an entry level gun. If you like it then buy something better. You will know a lot more about your needs then.
I heard that there was a surplus of French military rifles available, never fired and dropped just once... (old joke)
