I'll believe it when I see it. Whataburger has previously said they don't want us open carrying rifles in their restaurants, back when OCT was at its peak publicity. But I've never seen a single Whataburger that was posted.

And speaking with our local Whataburger manager, the company does not have a policy against concealed carry - just supposedly not comfortable with open carry. I've personally never seen a gun-buster sign in any Chile's, Walgreen, nor a number of other businesses on the big list. Only the usual "Unlicensed Carry 10K" mandatory for alcohol sales. But then again, haven't been to every store either.

Buffalo Wild Wings has "no guns" signs in all their restaurants. Obviously not valid for Texas, but they are valid in other states. You can ignore their wishes here, but be careful when visiting other states.

Their wishes? I am not a mind reader, but I know if they wanna ban concealed carry it is quite simple. Never seen one that did. Makes me believe they don't mind if I carry.

You don't think that counts as written notification similar to say verbiage in an employee handbook?
It doesn't matter what he, or you, or any of us thinks in that regard--it's what the Texas law specifically requires that controls. The legislature crafted 30.06 the way it did and with the specificity it requires, and that is the law when it comes to written notification. The requirements of verbal notification are not as specific.

Riddle me this. If Whataburger can choose to discriminate against a lawful gun owner, because it is their right to choose whom they serve, then why is it all of a sudden discrimination, national headlines and a lawsuit when a Christian baker refuses to bake a cake for a gay wedding? It is their business and goes against their religious and moral convictions. The Libtards want to have it both ways.

In Texas, if a law was passed to override the right of private accommodations in this manner they could do so. They have not done so. its a state or local law issue.

Same to same for your comment about refusing to bake for gay weddings. Those occurred in states with civil rights legislation that including relationships under protected classes. Its a state or local law issue.

Because sexual orientation is a protected class in this country. Gun owners are not.

I think the whole protected class concept is BS and should never have become law. Oh well-wish in one hand, shit in the other---
