When I lived in LA, we had a dispensary around the corner from our house.

I was pretty apathetic about it. It wasn’t all that different from any other store in the area as far as optics go.

    Morning.

Fabricating a few "campfire" benches today for extra company/festivities on the 4th.

Cheap and EZ (each bench is cost of a one 2x8x10, and one 2x8x8, PT, and a handful of 2 1/2" screws).

Not pretty, but surprisingly safe, stable and comfortable for sitting around a fire at night, or put them around the property. When they wear out, put them in the campfire ...

Help yourself to the plan below ...

If you burn them stay away from the fire. Pressure Treated lumber is full of poisons that don't get any better with heat.

I am sure you know this but just wanted to throw that out there.

I am NOT an electrician but I may be dealing with 240v or even higher next week, trying to pull small amounts of braided insulation off old wiring. Is there a non-conductive pliers/needle nose or similar readily available at a hardware store? Link please. :)
To some of yous guys angst, I am still alive. :p

Total square footage @ 250K. Original bldg @15K SF built 1933 with many, many additions. I opened around 200 breaker panels, J & splice boxes, transfer gear and whatever else all these electrical doohickeys are called and not once did I see the old braided wire insulation.
