Fabricating a few "campfire" benches today for extra company/festivities on the 4th.
Cheap and EZ (each bench is cost of a one 2x8x10, and one 2x8x8, PT, and a handful of 2 1/2" screws).
Not pretty, but surprisingly safe, stable and comfortable for sitting around a fire at night, or put them around the property. When they wear out, put them in the campfire ...

I am sure you know this but just wanted to throw that out there.
To some of yous guys angst, I am still alive.I am NOT an electrician but I may be dealing with 240v or even higher next week, trying to pull small amounts of braided insulation off old wiring. Is there a non-conductive pliers/needle nose or similar readily available at a hardware store? Link please.
