Been burning the candle at both ends and the middle lately and it’s starting to show. I’ve always tried to hold myself to a high standard and grade my performance objectively.

Went out today to practice some things at the ragged edge in a couple of different areas and really couldn’t make it happen anywhere. That was an eye opener for me to be deliberate in practice and not take skill for granted.

we are celebrating my father‘s 88th birthday and my parents 65th wedding anniversary today. Big family get together for dinner tonight. It is so nice to be down here in Texas where I can participate in these family events.
