On the way home I said im going 21 to 95 into Elgin much easier pleasant driving. Stopped in Elgin had a great time, found three antique stores, great farmers market there also.

Elgin is a great little Texas town. Good friend owns one of those places you shopped at.
Built a strawbale home just West of Elgin a few years back, had a construction/office Airstream I lived/stayed in onsite; used local construction trades at every opportunity ... great, hardworking folks who never let you down.

Those Texans could teach these idiots in AR a thing or two.

I’m surprised I was looking it up how many Tex mex restaurants there are in Giddings.

Actually found a photo of one.
Nothing for scale, but it would make a Mexico, boy's town donkey proud.
I'd buy two and eat them in the truck on the way to the jobsite on a Monday, going back to Elgin from Houston.
A messy thing to do while driving, but I wasn't on the way to church ...
