Was 74° at 7 this morning. Doubt if it is 85° now.

Due to the heat and lack of rain, I haven't mowed the weeds in well over two months. Just sux that my electric bill is gonna be a couple bagillion bucks.

I'm having to drench the plants in the yard. Not the usual every two days with 10mins of slow run each rose bush. Everyday. This 106° is cooking them alive. We're up to 20mins each.

We've moved potted plants last 2 weeks.
They're responding to more shade than usual.
Expanded metal patio furniture is a no go.
Even in the shade.

Pool is full shade. We abandoned it.

Yeah, 110° here today, another record. Dadgum Open was on during the cooler morning hours, and I wound up watching it. It was a pretty tight tournament with Texan Jordan Spieth tied for first to start the last round. Unfortunately, Mollanari ( an Italian) won.
