Dragging F-18s to Iwo Jima for a combined squadron trip. I don't recall how many Hornets there were but it is a flight of 4 KC-130s.

As the flight prepares for landing we must break formation. Each aircraft executes a 60* turn as they turn away. This was us over Mount Suribachi as we executed our turn. I took this from the right paratroop door, which was my seat as the Loadmaster.

That is four Hercs with Mount Suribachi in the background. Dash 4 is a little out of position and he caught hell for messing up the official photos being taken from the cockpit of my aircraft.

Taken from one of the other UH-60s. They took some of us with the ramp and door open too but they never sent them to us.

And here I just got done watching "Black Hawk Down" for the umpteenth time.
