    Thread subscriptions

Okay, so every thread I post in, the forum automatically subscribes me.

I go to 'general settings' in the User CP and change 'Default Thread Subscription Mode' to 'Do Not Subscribe.' When I hit save changes, it reverts back to 'Through My Control Panel Only.'

How do I get it to stop automatically subscribing me?

    Thanks y'all
    Franz

A suggestion: The forum software treats every (this is my best guess; obviously, I may be wrong) vote in a poll as a new post. Thus, any active poll is constantly popping to the top whenever I hit "New Posts".

I don't think a poll vote should count as a new post. I go to those threads and find the same last post, nearly every time, so I don't think a vote should pop a thread back to the top like it seems to be doing.

If that behavior could be changed, I would call that an improvement.

I made the change for you, let me know if it's still defaulting to the same...

Let me see if that's able to be changed...

The only thing that sucks about this is I don't get to spend an hour on Mondays reading and laughing about my 232 mail messages when the boss doesn't know.

    Hey TexCross
Is it possible to put a "Quick Links" link at the bottom of the page (by the last posts) so I don't have to scroll to the top to check "Todays Post's"? Not critical, just addresses my laziness! :green:

    Oh my, you ARE bad!

I would use that sooooo much

If you take too long to compose a post, the system often kicks you out and the "autosave" does not work.

I have often wondered about the autosave. It does pop up for me every so often while writing, but where is it saving it too? In what scenario would it be needed? If my connection is lost or if I click off this screen, is it saved somewhere to retrieve, or quite possibly I am just missing something, which wouldn't surprise me at all. :)

User interface is fubar on my end. This is the only site I'm having the issue with.

    Samsung tablet, Android OS

ps. Did a system restart. All issues cleared up. Disregard post.
