Go try to get someone to sell you a gun without a valid TX ID...
Good luck. Been there, Done that...
Find someone who knows the law and it easy...
Go try to get someone to sell you a gun without a valid TX ID...
Good luck. Been there, Done that...
What you wrote is still nonsense. If the gun store employee believes it and shapes his policy by it it is still nonsense.
Whatever you say...
I tried several different places. All said the same thing. Must have valid Tx ID to show residency to purchase a handgun. Funny how they all do that.
Not to mention, all of the information I can find regarding TEXAS laws says the same thing I said.
More nonsense. Texas does not regulate the sales of guns. Thus there are no Texas laws requiring Texas ID.
Time to Put Up:
Show ONE Texas Law which states you must have a a Texas ID to buy a gun.
Yes, you are correct... I misspoke.
I doubt you will ever find anyone willing to sell you a handgun without a valid Texas Identification Card.
Like I said... Been there... Done that.
While it may not be "law", it sure seems to be the popular policy.
$100 if you can purchase a handgun without a valid TX ID to prove residency from someone you don't know at an FFL.
