Saw this on a motorcycle forum...

You can still use Photobucket if you use the direct link to the photos. If you copy the direct link to the photo and paste it in using the square icon on the tool bar that looks like a mountain with the sun above it, the photos still work. I've done this on several sites when posting bike photos for classified ads. Just don't use PB's link with the on either end.

Giving it a try...

The odd thing is it worked on that forum (http://www.twtex.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1516818&postcount=11), but it doesn't here!

I have a very old 2nd photobucket account that has like 4 pics on it and I can still post from that account and they work fine. My real account that has 100's of pics and most of them are linked to more than one forum group is not working.
