Went to the range with the only striker-fired gun I have to see if it would set these primers off. The gun in question is a Taurus PT638. This is a single-action, striker-fired, poly frame double stack that fires from a locked breech. I'm not a giant fan of Taurus but this is a cool little gun. Well, it ain't really that little. But it's easy to shoot and with a 15 round magazine you can sure keep somebody busy ducking bullets.

It set off all 50 without failure. I think we're good.

I forgot to mention the PT638 is a .380...
