It's so dry that the government is planning a water gun buy back day.

This is great news. My kids will make a fortune. They have a large tub of water guns on the back patio. Of course, ol' dad here will take his cut. Which means I'll have money for my next gun purchase.

Katy area I live in must have a dome over it because when I see rain on the radar and it's headed my way. It usually doesn't make it, splits up and goes around us.

Same here. In my little pocket of Hardin county, the weather goes around us, good and bad weather. The severe storms, hail, high winds, I'm OK with them going around us but, the few rain showers have missed us, too. 5 Miles away got a good shower yesterday, we got nothing.

Looks like we'll catch the edge of a storm in 30 minutes or so, hopefully.

It sprinkled here yesterday afternoon for about five minutes. Didn't even settle the dust.

We just got a shower, enough to wet everything but not enough to soak in. Now the sun is back out. Thinking about putting some vegetables on the patio to steam them for supper.
