I was flying mine earlier and remembered something.

Not sure how you have your Tx set up, but the V has dual rates preprogrammed in the Rx. Make sure when you start your are on "precision" rates.

Then go in and set up dual rates through the Tx on another switch. This way you can reduce travel and add more expo to tame it down further while getting used to it.

I think in precision mode and low rates I have 50% travel or less. Add lots of expo as well, maybe 30% and make sure it's not tail heavy.

I guess this is why my ex always saw fit to shit on my every day.

Flew the Visionaire again this evening around dusk (after shoveling the runway for the second time today)

New rates setting work pretty good. Low rates make it fly like a puppy dog. Mids are good for general flying and plenty of expo to kill the twitchiness in 3D rates.

Still tough as hell to keep up with relying on the lights. Depth perception is gone. Also think 1 of my batteries is just about toast. Just enough power to climb vertical. Have a new one but don't really want to start wearing it out just yet. Hoping to get a 45C battery for it before long. Should solve the battery heating and puffing issues.

And make sure it's not tail heavy, way more sensitive than the apprentice. My 808 cam on the tail had it turning up.
