The story may die, but only because it isn't a big deal in terms of what happened. The only thing really making it a big story is that it happened at YouTube. It isn't a mass shooting. Only the shooter died. There aren't a lot of victim families. So, it may not still be making the news tonight. As of this morning, however, new stories are still coming out...

Yep, just about everything does not fit the agenda. Yesterday the media tried to lie about what happened, today they got caught.

Hate that this happened because no matter who did it or the motive, you know the NRA and the gun community is going to get blamed for it.

But, I must say that I’m not surprised that this happened. The way YouTube has been dealing with content providers and their income stream by picking winners and losers it was bound to happen.

That was my first thought in this. YT has been demonetizing more than just gun videos. It's just a money grab to profit from "free" content. What YT is doing is wrong....but it doesn't make this right.

Police in Mountain View, California, said they didn't notice anything alarming after encountering the YouTube shooter the morning of the attack.
Officers found Nasim Aghdam in her car in a parking lot around 1:40 a.m. Tuesday.

"At no point during our roughly 20 minute interaction with her did she mention anything about YouTube, if she was upset with them, or that she had planned to harm herself or others," Mountain View police said. "Throughout our entire interaction with her, she was calm and cooperative."

Police called Aghdam's father and brother, but "at no point did her father or brother mention anything about potential acts of violence or a possibility of Aghdam lashing out as a result of her issues with her (YouTube) videos," the department said.

The woman who shot three people at YouTube headquarters Tuesday did not have a link or relationship with the three people she shot, San Bruno Police Chief Ed Barberini said Wednesday.

"We know she was upset with YouTube, and now we've determined that was the motive," Barberini said.

The police chief also said the assailant, Nasim Najafi Aghdam, visited a shooting range before the attack. Police said they found a Smith & Wesson 9mm gun registered to her at the scene.

Body was not found until 12-13 hours after the shooting .

Jeez, they sure can spin things. They are now attacking Smith & Wesson and attacking the federal PLCAA law that protects them.

I wonder if anyone tried to sue Home Depot or the auto company that made the truck that killed 8 in New York, did the news suggest that?
