The M39 is such a great rifle. My wife doesn't really shoot guns, but when I put the M39 in her hands, she wanted to know why this gun is so accurate for her.

I'm proud of this one. I milled the lower without an 80% jig. I took measurements with my digital caliper on my Anderson lower and transferred them over. Then I took it out to the garage, made a jig out of wood and zip-ties (that's how you do it, right???) to hold it in place, and milled it out on the drill press.

Lemme break dis down... Dude took what in the eyes of the law, is a chunk of aluminum, strapped it to a board with bunch of zip ties, and presumably while scooting this aluminum/wood/plastic contraption around by hand under the spinning chuck of a drill press, turned it into a functioning AR15 lower receiver?
    I love it.
Well, except for one thing. That little twinge I used to feel when I referred to as “builds”, the self assemblage of parts that are many of my rifles, has now been turned into outright guilt.
