Is your original gas block low profile style, or is it a gas block / front sight base (triangle tower)? Originals are installed with taper pins, just drive the pins out, FSB should slide off the front like normal. If its low pro, it could be pinned on or held on by set screws. Look at the bottom side to be sure.

Gotcha…Now I know the type of guy you are. Thanks.
    You'll get over it.

Now if you want to know how to change out a pistol grip....

Noob posting a bunch of obviously meaningless posts quickly will get push back. Are you just here to sell or contribute. These are the things we need to know to unravel the mystery of the Ghorman.

The real question is what type of guy are you.

    We shall see.

Ah the elitist and entitled. Thank you for the welcoming tone.
Its a serious question because a lot of threads I’ve seen on it suggest using heat. I’m looking for another way without heating it up.

But at this point I’m just going to block you and move on.

Have you pushed the pins out of the A2 front sight & it's stuck on the barrel or are they still in & not sure which direction to push them out?

The pins usually drive out left to right.
I banged on them pretty hard without them moving. That is wear I started reading about adding heat.

If you are getting gassed, consider playing with buffers, springs and charging handles before messing with the gas block.
I want to changed the gas block because it currently has the two piece hand guards on it. Would like to add a rail were I can attach a front grip etc.
