Is anybody really going to sell their safe because of this?

I mean, maybe swap an electronic dial for mechanical, but come on.
It might be a good opportunity to add an additional safe. Most safes become crowded in a few years and additional safes or a larger safe is needed.

Exactly what I thought: for something that expensive and difficult to move and sell I don't anticipate "I hate liberty now, selling 62" safe $100, come and get it!" sales anywhere on the internet. I've seen a lot of joke posts saying they'll take it off the hands of anyone wanting to dispose of theirs but no chance of actual deals out there.

What'd be funny is to put Liberty logos on your non-Liberty safe. Have them spend more time on the phone trying to get the backdoor code than it would take to bust open.
It would be just our luck everyone uses the same lock guts and the backdoor code is universal.

yep, more than likely there's only two or three actual manufacturers
All the electronic locks are outsourced and not made by Liberty. Like other companies, the electronic lock maker gives the factory codes to the manufacturer like Liberty or any other company.

If law enforcement is authorized access to your safe, one way or another they are getting in. You can buy a new safe for thousands of dollars, but don’t expect the FBI to cover your loss if they force entry with a valid warrant.

I just question the warrant being valid to search the safe.
