Thanks for letting me in. Im a pro-gun, pro-Democrat, pro-truth American (from NYC). in the last 2 hours of short posts, I have already been informed im in the minority here, but that is fine. If we were all the same, we wouldnt have anyone to disagree with. Im only here to get information for, and to share information on my guns and experiences

And what political party is and has historically pushed for more restrictive gun control laws? That would be Democrats. So to say you are Pro-gun, and a pro-Democrat is for many of us a contradiction in terms of what we have seen, an what is going on currently in our country.

Personally, I'm very conservative and very pro-gun, and I'd never align or support any political party that historically by their own record that was trying to infringe upon my rights, or to disarm me.

maybe I should have just said I was pro-gun and pro-American. I think everyone has the right to believe in what makes their life both safer and better. But I dont question or critisize why anyone else does. I just let them deal with their own.

Democrats are not Socialists or Communists. They arent the enemy. Im not against expanded background checks or waiting periods. I live in Texas and still had to wait 3 days just to get my 12 guage that I bought at my local Academy, simply because my check didnt come back without additional review required. While I wasnt worried about it, it doesnt mean a throrough check shouldnt be conducted before releasing it to me. (all this before my LTC was completed)

Tell me again how that background check keeps criminals from committing any crime. If they did, why do they have straw purchases?

I have not met a Democrat supporter yet that did not think that restricting everyone else to make their life easier wasn't a good thing. Some just a little, some a lot restricted.
Mostly out of a belief that others have an obligation to make their life easier.
