maybe I should have just said I was pro-gun and pro-American. I think everyone has the right to believe in what makes their life both safer and better. But I dont question or critisize why anyone else does. I just let them deal with their own.

Democrats are not Socialists or Communists. They arent the enemy. Im not against expanded background checks or waiting periods. I live in Texas and still had to wait 3 days just to get my 12 guage that I bought at my local Academy, simply because my check didnt come back without additional review required. While I wasnt worried about it, it doesnt mean a throrough check shouldnt be conducted before releasing it to me. (all this before my LTC was completed)

Oh, so you are pro-gun, but also in favor of expanded background checks and waiting periods. So you're only PARTIALLY pro-gun.

As for the Democratic Party, take your blinders off and take a hard look at the people running the party. They are AT BEST socialists, and many are moving on to communism. It's not the same party that elected Kennedy. Socialism is all about government control, and, again, socialism cannot tolerate people having the potential ability to resist control.
