1. Pistol braces are well within the NFA rules.
2. It sounds as if you've basically given up on gun rights in general. Never known a redneck to give up before he's dead.
3. Everyone KNEW that Donald Trump would never get elected. Never say never.
4. Telling people "it's the NFA, just get used to it. Don't fight it, just lay back and try to enjoy it" is not the right answer. In fact, it would be a self fulfilling prophesy. If you truly dislike the NFA the answer is to educate people on why it is pointless and how much it restricts their ability to own rifles and shoguns that simply work better in many everyday uses, as well as increase the costs of ownership. Nobody ever thought a bill to remove suppressors from the NFA registry would even be considered, but that was proven wrong and has the opportunity to take the same path open carry did in Texas.
You seem to be hiding behind an inability to break the law. That would simply be a strawman as nobody has advocated any such thing. You've spent far more time posting about cosmetics than arguing hypothetical legal changes. It's almost as if you are attempting to use the fear of a legal change as a way to support you personal cosmetic preferences.
