I alternate between dry with a Norelco and wet with a disposable and gel, depending on the weather, my skin condition, and my impulse.

I like the closeness of a blade, but a few hours later what does it matter?

It's my regret that I didn't buy an electrolysis unit at 15 and start killing hairs on my face until they were all gone. Shaving is something I do because I don't like a beard, not because I like shaving...

Moving to Texas open up my opportunity to hunt in Africa 3 times over 10 years. Even them cornfed whitetails are less important to me.

I also would have never got to hunt hogs with night vision on suppressed machine guns in Illinois.

Yep....I'm down that way often for nv hog hunting. Lots of yote hunting with nv in these parts.

Have to agree on that commie bastion of Illinois though. Place is a **** hole when it comes to liberty.

When I was still living there , one could still hunt quail & pheasants. I heard that's all gone for the arrival of the yotes & wild turkey

Sadly mostly true. Pheasants are tough to come by. Quail not so much if you know where to go.

I have yet to understand why there aren't more yotes in Texas. We leave a lot of dead pigs laying around when we hunt there. Seems it would be an easy food supply for them.

Out were I live the turkey vultures & Mexican eagles control the road kill. The yotes seem to stick to rats, mice & birds.

    One last hijack...

I was in the Waxahachie area hunting hogs with a buddy that lives there. Buddy from here is deathly afraid of snakes.

He asked my Texas buddy,"What's the rattle snake situation like around here?"

Texas buddy: Not bad. Hardly ever see them.

My other buddy gave a look of relief.

Texas buddy: Lots of copperheads though.

    LOL

Couldn't get my buddy from here anywhere near a blind after that!
