Shot show 2024 thread and competition

So for the past few years, I've been "covering" shot show. I'm not actually there, but I'll crawl all over the internet and my distributors stock lists to bring you the good, bad, and the ugly.


Shot officially starts on the 23rd, but there's always leaks, so I've been starting these threads a bit early, but i want this one to be  fun, so i want to implement a competition. From now till the first leak (usually happens around the 15th) anyone can make a prediction. If it turns out to be true, you'll win a trophy emblazoned with your name;

And bragging rights.

There is one exception, saying that s&w will do something dumb doesn't count. We all know s&w will do something dumb.

I'm not expecting much from glock. Gaston just died so I'm sure his kids and his nurse/wife are getting ready for a big legal fight

Thats a given. Holosuns thermal sight got a lot of press last year.

Maybe drunk leupold has something crazy and expensive in the works that no one wants.

I still say there is a market for a PUMP action PCC with the following:

Interchangeable barrels.- everything from short and threaded to long and blue, irons and/or rail.
Interchangeable stocks. - wood or polymer - something for the tactifools to Elmer.
Interchangeable mag well. - all common brands of mags, Beretta, SIG, Glock, etc
Removable disconnector allowing slam fire. - well duh.

Pump action gets around states with semi-auto bans.
Pump action works 100% with all ammo and muzzle devices. No blowback either.

and Interchangeable bolt - so other calibers could be utilized.

Think something like a mini Remington 870 but a PCC.

It would be an easy update tho.
But Colt always has its head up its cylinder on things like this.
