I am having sight-in troubles as well. There's not much contrast during the day in bright sunlight. I have resorted to sighting in at night (really need to just pick a damn zero and stop fooling with it).

G, if you find a good daytime sight-in procedure, please post.

Can it see a laser boresighter at night? I usually laser bore sight in on my neigbors chimney which is about 50 yards away.

Just to clarify ... all that has actually shipped from ODLG are my wife's anniversary gift. ;)
That was an automated message generated from ODLG ordering system.

I'm on the list for the Sightmark. But unlike OP, my card hasn't been tagged.
Jason said he only submits charges once the product ships.

And I have to say, there have been several, very kind offers from the TGT contingent.
    Thanks each of you.

To the naked eye, in each instance, the laser appeared to be a small red dot, obviously getting larger with distance.

Shown on a white metal surface at @ 40', the laser appeared to be a ghostly white 6" circle through the scope.

Shown on an @ 18" dia. tree trunk at @ 60yds, the laser again appeared ghostly white and was nearly the width of the trunk. I don't see an advantage to sighting in at night.

I appreciate the idea anyhow IXLR8.

    What thermal deer photo?

    https://www.flickr.com/photos/129775729@N03/15958410956/

The deer in the thermal photo was 75+- yards, we spotted it's ears above the tall grass before she stood-up, I use the thermal camera for spotting while stalking and you can easly see game out to 500 yards, then the sightmark photon takes over.... this combo is very lethal.

After ths weekend, i'm moving this setup to my suppressed Blackout.... even more lethal.

Below is the link to the Therm app i'm using, it was on sale last month for$999.
