Just killed my first copperhead on the front porch. That’s at least a month earlier than they usually come out, here in north Texas. Not full grown but well past the tail flash age.

I already killed two small copperheads, and one water moccasin this week. One of the puppies got bit a few days ago on the leg.

I think the snakes are going to be bad this year.

Thanks for the heads up. Planning to take the boys out this weekend, weather dependent. Now I'll have to watch more than just them.

I've been on the lookout. I've seen lots of toads, and that's usually an indication the snakes are not far behind. Last year I killed one that was 24 inches long.

Austin's predicting 89°F high for mid week. Spring is nearly over.

Well, them too but they’ve figured out a way to always be round.... or so it seems to me.

Funny, the chopping off the head method works with all the snakes.
