I can't seem to help myself. Today I'm thinking about buying something way out of my price range, a Sig P226 MK25. I can get it for a good price, relatively speaking. With what I have saved already, it would take me at least 3 weeks to pay for it.

Someone talk me down.

Yes it’s beautiful, and they are amazing to shoot. You need that pistol.

I saw the title and was all set to offer the voice of reason...but you need that Sig. And if you have buyer's remorse, you should give it to me. A selfless act of kindness like that should ease your conscience nicely.

I love my 1911 and my 5906. My question is, does the P226 add anything? How is it different than a 1911 or 5906?

How is the recoil compared to a 1911? And, don't tell me that a 9mm doesn't have that much recoil anyway. Because, to me, it does.

I was being serious.
Unfortunately it was some 6-8 years ago.
About all I remember is that it felt awkward.
But don't forget, I'm the guy that doesn't care for 1911s, either.
But that is due to being left handed.
