If it is the one I am thinking about, that 30-30 pistol is way cool as well. I would shoot it again if you brought it.

MMMMM - 30-30 pistol. I'll bring factory ammo for it Ben. Got a pile. That thing's a hoot. The other one - since I PM'd you on buying one, and have yet to put my paws on one, I'd love to shoot that.

Somehow, I see Ben as the pied piper, and we're a bunch of rats following him to the pistol range.

Is this a Thompson/center that's y'all talking about? I didn't read that far back. If it is. Hee-hee, I wanna watch it go off.

WAY cooler. When I grow up I want to have collections like Ben and Robert. Maybe some Grumper thrown in for good measure. Probably more. I'm late on the spreadsheet thing.

I'm bringing the Charles Moore black powder dueling pistol that I had at the last meet. I want to get into a contest with Ben on who's gun has the lightest trigger.

    Y’all gonna duel?
I think not. The only way I can edge him is in machinery - possibly. A few years ago in the .22 dueling tree competition, he swung all the plates over before the other guy even got his pistol's safety off. Somebody needs to resurrect that video.

That last one was the final. Here is Youngun and Dawico's son, I think.

    Yep, dawico junior.

His name tag is still on our fridge.

    True story.

    No, it's a Merrill.

I just wish I had the stabilizer for it. Pistol stabilizing braces date from at least the 1960s for that gun but I never saw the use in getting one. I kinda wish I had one now just to show these whippersnappers that there's really nothing new under the sun.

PSP and Merrill packed, btw. Trunk's full.

ETA - I'm only bringing one PSP magazine. I have 10 (Yes, I spent more on mags than on the pistol.) but I've learned the hard way that if you run 10 mags through it quickly, it gets so hot that you blister fingers.

Having to stop and reload a single mag keeps the overall rate of fire down, preventing the pistol from trying to fry your trigger finger.
