They're already talking about the 4th round of "stimulus" payments. I say lets go for $5T. Why not $10T? some years from now I predict they will print $100T for relief. Funny thing thing is they do not even need to print the physical money, only account where it goes. Great system the feds have here. All they need do is say "your bank account is deposited with $xxxx.00.
Let's just let the federal government run everything. The people are allowing this. I think it's called communism. You scared of socialism?

As someone suggested, they really don't even need to tax us anymore, they could just create the money they need to run the government by inflating the money supply and further devaluing the fiat currency we hold and work for.

I'm just glad I'm old, and even more happy I never had kids...

Why not just give everyone a million dollars and be done with it. Then we'll all be rich and no one will have to work. Of course if no one works, there's nothing to buy. That's a drawback.

When the first stimulus payment was announced, I heard that social security recipient's payments would be delayed and IRS direct deposit registrants prioritized, so I quickly registered with IRS and received my payment only a few days later. The 2nd and 3rd payments have since been deposited soon after they were announced. The 3rd was scheduled for deposit on the same day as my social security payment.

Though the 3rd was scheduled for deposit last week, it was scheduled for deposit on the 17th (yesterday), became available at midnight, but wasn't actually posted to my account until the end of the business day. Different strokes for different banks...

No deposit for me yet, first two came soon as expected. No change in my income, so guess I need to read the fine print in the eligibility rules. All my similar situated friends got theirs on 3-17 as advertised.

takes 2-3 weeks extra to get a check mailed

If I get it, it will be a check in the mail. I got my tax refund check a couple of weeks ago so the IRS knows where I live.

Didn't want to scan 26 pages of earlier posts so my apologies if this is a dupe. When you do get your payment, a few days later you will get a letter from the IRS confirming your direct deposit. I guess they recycled the old letters from January because they all say $1200 direct deposit for qualifying couples, not the $2800 those receiving the full amount will receive. I would assume, reading posts on other forums, that the same is true for all of the letters...incorrect amount in the letter but correct amount in the deposit

Now we can all start repaying ol uncle for being so kind to all of is Mericans. Although he was ALOT nicer to the foreigners. We will get to pay theres back as well.
