If bombs are actually hitting their targets, then combat controllers are on the ground. We also have a handful of bases in Syria. And I think its unlikely we have boots on the ground. A few missles from the coastline is probably all it took.
haha, keeps you on your toesI'm not really sure it does, I don't know what to think about it, lol...
look up Alex Jones on youtube
hmmm...so you saw that

A few weeks ago a buddy of mine was deployed over there. He told me the mission would be to look for chemical weapons. Funny how this stuff popped up in the news right after her got over there.
Once you take office, you are briefed on multiple classified operations and states of affairs going on that the general public may never know about. This has been the cause to changes in thought as well as added stress for every president I can recall.I think Trump acting just like Obama in reference to Syria is a sign he's lost the battle with the swamp. I want 2013 Trump back...

That would be a hell of an information set to alter your principals, unless of course you didn't have principals to begin with. Trump obviously isn't a constitutional conservative so I guess this isn't unexpected; just disappointing since he's supposed to be different from the rest.Once you take office, you are briefed on multiple classified operations and states of affairs going on that the general public may never know about. Fair enough. My experiences are a bit dated now. Still, it's incorrect to assume we don't have "boots on the ground".Not necessarily, but I won't go into any further details.
Short term profit for some, sure. Real wealth comes from building.War is business, and business is good...
None of us currently posting about this will have to worry about paying for it, but I wonder how all this money spent will affect my grandson's tax burden. What is he going to get out of it?
We'll be fine. Largest oil reserves in the world are just to the south of us, and we have plenty of resources ourselves. And if Syria/Russia/Iran were allowed to run amuck, how big a bill (or other impact) might affect your grandson down the road?

If you're worried about terrorism you should leave Assad alone. Russia knows how to deal with terrorists and with their help Assad had pretty much defeated ISIS already.
It should be clear to everyone by now that westerners don't understand the middle east, and we should stop trying to "help". We need to mind our own damn business. We've got plenty of problems here to work on.

dmancarnell,
YES, Frank is competent to know what he was looking at, as were the Army ordnance & engineer troops, who did the actual destruction of the poison gas munitions.
(In case you don't know, full Colonels don't do actual destruction. - Frank was there as the official observer for JCS & to document that the mission was completed.)
Face FACTS:: You have NO clue about what you are prattling on & on about.
Incidentally, in case you haven't noticed, this forum isn't an "anti-gun rally". = You are looking evermore clueless & SILLY posting the nonsense/prejudices that you've inculcated.

The Syrians have weaponized chorine gas, Sarin, nitrogen mustard, Lewisite, homemade/"crude clones" of VX/BZ & (likely) a huge quantity of "Yellow Rain", that they got from Saddam's war criminals.
(The Mossad believes that many of "Chemical Ali's subordinates" are now working for Syria.)
As a graduate of 7th Army NBC School (of long ago), my GUESS is that the "unidentified lethal agent", from the published effects on the victims, was PROBABLY chlorine, mixed with the "clone" of VX.
