I told them I bought a box of gun stuff, and asked if they could take a look at my Super Blackhawk to see if it could be repaired.

They called me about a week later and told me the gun was not repairable, they had decided to send me a free replacement.

Their customer service is first rate.

Reality is that they likely took one look and decided they had to have that blown up gun just to remind them they have some real dumbasses for customers.

I've heard of people destroying hipoint pistols on purpose and sending them back. They always get replaced. I kinda want to test that but don't know how I could damage it other than overcharging a reload. I don't really want to do that.

Well, you can look at the new video Demolition Ranch put on YouTube. He worked a HiPoint over reasonably well.

    I have 2 stories
20 plus years ago, while hunting after I climbed into the blind with my 2 year old Rem 700, I put a round in the chamber. The safety didn't look or feel fully engaged. With the gun on my lap, muzzle facing away, I flipped the saftey to fire and it discharged with my hand nowhere near the trigger.
    I nealy shat myself.

Story number 2 was when I was bore sighting an AR with my new EoTech. Steel target, 30 yards, yeah... bad idea
The jacket came straight back and hit me in the thigh and cut my pant leg.

700s don't do that. Ever. At least if you listen to the fanbois anyways.
