Karma is a bitch. This is the d bag that sent his minions on here and facebook to spam this forum and then screw with me.

If I remember. Jeremy and his minions posted on here that. "I was out of business because they were doing free trusts".

I guess this is where I should gloat. But karma being the bitch it is . . . . I wont

Because the bank is anti gun . . At least in part . . . And that is bad. Even if someone like Jeremy is going down.

i wonder where his facebook minion with the jet airplane is? Why don't his friends take advantage of this opportunity to invest in Jeremy's business?

Wonder why Jeremy and his sock-puppets haven't shown up to threaten everyone in this thread yet.

oh, right... The banhammer hit him pretty hard.

i wouldn't be surprised if we see a brand new member pop into this thread using his first posts to defend Alcede and call us all communist liberal nazi facist homo hugging secret democrats.

I think I swung that ban hammer myself.

On another note . . . If the business is that great. . . . And Jeremy is that great a guy to be in a business with . . Why did this investor pull the plug and refuse to sign onto the new loan?

enquiring minds want to know . . Not really, the refusal and pullout says all I need to know.

The scumbags in Washington DC have totally screwed firearms oriented businesses. They strong arm lenders to restrict loans to gun related business.

    Operation "Choke Point"
is yet another misuse of government power to deny financial services (meaning loans, accounts, lines of credit) to businesses that have a negative image according to our rulers. Gun sellers and ammunition vendors are included. Our government cannot FORCE compliance but it ENCOURAGES compliance. That's why this program was secretive and flew under the public radar.

I spoke with the owner of a gun shop just today about this exact subject. Many financial institutions will not provide services to his firearms business for this reason. He even encountered specific discrimination against people who sell TYPES of guns. One bank would deal with him if he sold guns. If he sold "assault rifles", they wouldn't do business with him!

Here's an article about "Choke Point". If you read the entire article, firearms sellers and ammunition suppliers are targeted specifically.

?Operation Choke Point? - The Washington Post

    Here's a quote:
......"it was reported last week that firearms shops are alleging that Operation Choke Point is being used to pressure banks into refusing to providing financial services."

If this business earned the ire of our members and his lousy people skills forced him out of business, that's one thing. If the Obama/Holder "Operation Choke Point" forced him out of business by limiting his access to financial services, that's another issue entirely!

Obama and Holder need to be locked up. They are nothing but criminals!

I'm missing the point of the feud here and how it relates to the big picture. I'll take your word that the owner of Tactical Firearms is a D'Bag. Doesn't change the fact that BARRY and the DOJ and all the Socialists in DC are doing their best BACKDOOR efforts to screw gun owners. My advice to you is get over it. The BIG PICTURE makes your beef sound petty.

The problem is that Obungholes policy probably isn't why the bank is not renewing.

if the business is so profitable and great . . . . Why is the partner walking away?

think about that for a second.

the partner, who is probably being asked to personally guarantee the loan . . . . Of a profitable business . . . Is walking away? Why would he do this if Jeremy is so awesome to be in business with!

    that is what started this.

    Notice also:
    1. Partner pulling out because he wants to seize control. Conspiracy 1
    2. Foreclosure lawyer/bank board member wants to shut tfk down because he has a share of an unmentioned gun store . . . Conspiracy 2
    3. Obunghole is anti gun. . . . Conspiracy 3 . . . . Well this at least makes sense.

Any bank making a hundred bucks overall seldom cares about losing a penny if that penny must be fought for. They're financially better off making a dollar elsewhere. What percentage of any bank's business do you think are gun businesses? What bank wants to take on the wrath of Uncle Sam... and how much of their business would they lose if they did? More than a penny per hundred dollars, I'd guess.

He is using a common tactic. Change the nature of the situation to better suit your needs.

In this time and place there is a large number of folks who hate obama so much they will believe him capable of anything and everything they hear negative about him or his administration. They eagerly join and will be willingly fight his every move (real or perceived). Some people and organizations use this to their advantage because they know that if they put their plight in the correct light for these mouth-breathers, they will get rabid supporters who will never do their research or due diligence into the real issue and will blindly follow. Just note how many of these anti-bho emails that are totally bogus and have no basis of fact get re-cycled over and over no matter how many times they are dis-proven, yet some yahoo will post it up like it is new news.

He has to know that some will pick his argument and justifications apart on their lack of merit, but many others will willingly jump on his bandwagon with blinders on and never let reason or the truth get in their way. Bad thing about this country now, the numbers of those people are growing by the day on all sides of the political spectrum.

Why wasn't he paying down the loan when things were going good in the gun industry?

Could be the investors reconize that things are slowing down and the place is too leveraged.

Does he mention any personal sacrifice he's making to help keep the business?

Or is he still monkeying around?

Now it looks like the time to get together a group of private inverstors that do not need to rely on banks to buy the business. When it falls into bankruptcy, no one will be able to get a bank loan to finance it. You should be able to buy it for a steal....
It is a nice building, range and store. The location is pretty good as well.

I wholly agree it couldn't have happened to a nicer Dbag.

    But that said it is the actions of this Mr Evans which worry me. Here's a guy who if you believe the claims is;
1 on the board of the bank
2 partner at the law firm doing the foreclosure
3 Owner of "GunsOverTexas" store on the beltway, you know the one that STOLE the name of our favorite radio show to have instant recognition (I am assuming there's legal action there since the guys at Shilo wont comment by advice of their attorney)

Given this I'd rather have the devil I know than someone who uses "ObamasOperation Choke Point" and steeling someone else's name in our community.

My hopes for all this is someone better takes over tactical or he realizes how much of the community his attitude has alienated.
And that the AG finds evidence to prosecute Evans under TexasFairTrade....if the allegations are even half true he's not the kind of person I want to deal with.

For a quick bit on OpChoke point heres the "gun gripes" segment on it

Can he sell the land he purchased? Or is the land for sale now?

If it was a good business why can't he get an investor to help out?
