Yes, I know its a facebook page. One of our local vets was asked to put down a healthy German Shepard Dog, because it allegedly ate a chicken. Vet took custody of dog, and is now trying to find a good home for him.

For the non-facebook types, call the Clear Creek Animal Hospital, ask for Carla or Angelica - they have the info about the doggo. He is a three year old male, assume fixed but the OP doesn't say. I believe his name is Chase (fitting, because he was on a farm and I guess liked chasing the cows)

He needs an experienced owner of high drive working dogs, and needs proper training.

At a 24 hour vet with our youngest pet, Mia. She’s been throwing up for two days, got an anti-nausea shot Friday that helped for a day. We’ve had her since she was 6 weeks old, and she’s made 4 moves with us; including a long one from Ohio to Texas.

We did the doggie DNA test (before that we were convinced she was part Mali), she’s 45% Germans Shepherd, 20% Saint Bernard, remaining 35% is a mix of Lab/boxer. When she was younger she moved like a Mali, could clear 5 feet high fences with very little difficulty.

I thought mine was full blood, may still be, but she was the runt and ended up about 3 inches short each way so I figured she is mixed.

She is the smartest dog I've ever had. Smarter than any working dog I've dealt with but has an issue with noises so....

Turns out is an obstruction in her stomach, they didn’t say it but they’re acting like it will be cancer.

Hope it turns out well! Nothing worse than a family member getting sick, including pets. Our two year old Chihuahua needed knee surgery, found a caring vet who brought in a specialist. When he found out we are on social security and had rescued her he gave us a better price. She's all better now.
