    Does he sleep 20+ hours a day? I don't know what their schedule was when they were racing, but both of my hounds sleep most of the day since retirement.

    My current elderly mutt sleeps like that pretty much.
    Susie and Pipper sleep during the day, or most of it and then hyper and want to play at night around bedtime!

    The guard dog type- not the greyhound type. And yes- I’m guessing our old gal sleeps 16-18 hours a day. She does get out and walk two miles every morning though. That’ll wear a girl out!
