Got some good news, they did an ultra sound and while there is a foreign object in her stomach moving through her intestine now, it’s not a tumor or cancerous. They had to bring her out if anesthesia because she had arythmia, so now they’re waiting for a cardiologist to make recommendations on how to sedate her for the surgery to remove the foreign object.

    Out here by the lake!

In Rajasthan, India, at Siriholini Village, a poor farmer said that at night a little animal family would come to his hut and snuggle up with him. This story had been passed on for several weeks and no one believed the farmer.

One day, he mentioned it to an officer at the local wildlife preservation department.

Just for fun, they installed a CCTV camera in his hut.

The next morning, they were stunned to see this video.

Just an update, it’s been a week since Mia’s surgery, they found an obstruction in her stomach/intestines (piece of a corn cob). She’s on her way to recovery and we had to take her back once last Wednesday because she wouldn’t eat and there were concerns her digestive tract wasn’t processing food. They ran some more tests and gave her new meds which seem to be working.

Bump with a pic of my lazy ass doggo. She is the fastest thing at the dog park but also the laziest one I have owned. Half greyhound half wolf hound. Bred for hunting coyote although she only kills squirrels.

I have two greyhounds retired from the track in West Memphis. Unless they see food, they're sleeping. I no longer have a problem with stray cats getting in the yard however.

Happy 4th birthday to my rescue. Never imagined she would become a giant tub of love. Her and my daughter’s sheepadoodle are cuddle buddies.

Vet thinks she was around 4 weeks when I picked her up on the side of the road, almost dead. Took a lot of TLC to get her healthy.

After 5 years of keeping snakes (pythons and boa’s), I finally made the mistake of leaving a cage open! It was feeding day, and I cracked open one of the enclosures to feed one of my small male ball pythons. He wasn’t interested, so I half-ass closed it with one hand, because I had a big rat in the other. I do it all the time, but when I’m done feeding, I go through all the enclosures and make sure everything’s buttoned up tight. Not sure why I didn’t double check earlier, but I just went into the bedroom to grab something, and slithering up the side of my tub system, was one of my ball pythons! Oops! Everyone told me it was a “when” not an “if” situation, but I’m always so careful! Glad it was a small ball python and he didn’t go far. If it was my reticulated python, and I didn’t know where he went, I might not have just laughed at it happening!
